Gorgeous camp, watched the aspen transform the mountains!

Best campground within 35 minutes of downtown SLC. High elevation, pretty pine trees, streams, and wildlife. Short walk to Solitude Ski Area mountain village. Great way to escape the summer heat without having to spend all day driving. Usually lots of moose and deer, situational awareness recommended. We even found this Tiger Salamander.

My favorite campground so far! We weren't packed in like sardines, Tons of tall trees, beautiful nearby stream...heavenly. even a little mini hike/ walk right there.

It closed Sunday for season. The cost is 26 for a single space (I believe up to 5 people)
They are very big..... beautiful and excellent campground I ever seen... You may love this.....
Yes. They have water spouts around camp. Still take your own for drinking though because sometimes they go out.
The only way I have been able o get a site is to show up and hope one is open. Ive never been able to get anyone on th phone. I've been lucky so far and been able to get a site by showing up and driving through. The camp hosts are super nice in person though.

There are no domestic animals allowed since it is a watershed area.
