Fair price, genuine care for my pet and same day service. I am impressed with timely appointment and no wait with a great caring staff. Will recommend over several other places I've used in past, this is now my #1 first try for future events. thank you!!

Very friendly staff and I'm often greeted by name. They have shown care with all my animals and their prices are reasonable.

They answered all my questions and were great with our girl. We have been looking for a good vet for a while and are very happy with west lake.

If the problem is for luxating patellas (kneecaps popping out), then the average for 1 knee is $2,300 - 2,400. The majority of orthopedic surgeons don't like to do both knees at the same time, but it can still be done if needed. Doing both at the same time brings that up to about $3,500 - 3,800.
Yes. We are allowing 2 people in the exam room with their pet. The exam is included in the charge for vaccinations. We prefer those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask, but you will not be asked if you are or are not.

Congratulations on the new kitten. The average neuter for a cat is around $140 which includes the anesthesia, neuter, and pain medications. A pre-anesthetic blood panel to check for congenital disease and IV fluids are optional for the younger animals, but are always recommended. That adds about another $160 for both together. Unless they are outdoor cats and need their claws for defense, we always trim the nails while they are asleep and is included with the surgery.
Most veterinarians don't work on chickens and should probably be seen by an exotics vet here in town. Dr. Nebeker is at West Lake every Tuesday and Wednesday and can see chickens.
A general exam/office call for dogs and cats is $47. Exotics and extended exams can be more depending on the circumstance. A receptionist can help with that when you call the office to schedule.
