Very awesome place with lots of activities and service projects available. Cabins or yurts are provided but you will need to bring a sleeping bag or padding because there is no bedding on the wooden bunks. Bring a jacket for the mornings or evenings even in summer because it does get chilly.

Beautiful location. The sites are absolutely immaculate and the facilities are top of the line. This is a great place for a girls camp in the beautiful mountains near Heber. We were able to serve a massive dinner to hundreds of young adults and the kitchen was very spacious and allowed us to serve the massive amounts of people.

Great facility but probably not meeting my needs for a venue facility.

Questions & Answers

What is the purpose of the strict dress code? We have a ward full of girls who need to buy new pants without holes to go camping. That seems a little extreme.

Charity Coe Christensen | Nov 3, 2018

The camp has a lot of thick brush, the pants are to prevent injury, bug bites and sunburn. (I had the same concern as you when I went last year, but we were glad for the longer pants). Good luck and have fun!

We stayed in the cabins for winter camps the last two years. Though they do not have a furnace or fireplace, there was a small electric space heater that was provided that kept it plenty warm even during January and February. I'm not sure if they provide the heaters during summer months because I doubt they would be needed at all.
