I usually love love this place because I just love seeing movies on the big screen and this theater never disappoints. Until recently, I had an issue with the security guard not letting me in the theater with a bag; which I have no problem with because I understand that’s just the world we live in today. But this security guard was nothing but rude, he took advantage that I’m only 16 and began to scream at me. I asked him if I could talk and he continued to shout over me. The other security guard (last time when I went in to see Thor with my friends) was much much nicer, and was very sweet. He simply asked me to open my bag to make sure I wasn’t bringing a weapon, which I complied and he let me in the theater. I consider myself a reasonable person, all I wanted to do is to see a movie with my friends.

This place used to be great, the chairs are all broken and look like you'll catch something from using them. The men's bathroom is disgusting and seems like it's never cleaned. Better sound quality, and reopening the coffee cafe would be great too.

Hazlet movie theater has my heart!! I have been going there for over a decade. I used to go all the time for $5 Tuesdays (I think it’s $6 now- which is AMAZING). Sadly I don’t live in the area anymore but I did go recently while I was in town and I was so happy to be at my favorite theater once again.

Went to see a movie yesterday. Was a great time, nice quality. However, the seats are a bit worn down and could use some love! I left the theater after a two hour movie to black specks all over my back from the chair leather falling off! I love this theater, just wish it was better kept.
