Definitely a lovely garden even in the fall. Beautiful leaves and easy hiking trails deserve a family visit. Great choice for a family visit, especially for seniors. Normal ticket is $10 for each, but seniors can have $5 and college student is $7 if I remember correctly. Be aware that this is a large garden but not a state park if you are looking for a long hiking trip. A full visit takes 2 hrs maximum.

Beautiful scenery, helpful staff, shorter than expected trails but great time nonetheless

I covered photography at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in July. It was quite hot, but such a magical place. I could only imagine how lovely it looks in the spring. The young lady who was helping, gave us a ride back and forth on the golf cart and was very helpful and so nice. They had a small intimate First Look meeting before the ceremony so we could get all the photos finished. There are so many nice spots for photos. They had their ceremony at the gazebo which luckily for everyone the whole area there was shaded in the afternoon at the time of the service. Otherwise it would have been a bit sweltering in the sun. After the service we took a few more photos and headed to a small restaurant for the reception. I think this is such a hidden jem for nice, small wedding ceremonies. They also have a pavillion that you can decorate and have your reception. Some of the best weddings are small and private, in the woods, at the pavillion with some yummy catered BBQ and the people you love most.

No. Went on 4/15/22 & the lady at the gate said no dogs. Ours was with us and she specified he'd have to wait in the car. She did recommend the canal trail just across the street (by the sheep).
Yes, the bluebells are open now, 4/24/22, and beautiful!
We do not have grills available. They are allowed to be brought and used at the Pavilion area only. Thank you
No. I was told dogs are not allowed in the preserve.

Yes they some for sale on location.
Sadly, not at this time. The Preserve is working with the DCNR to produce a plan for opening. Soon, i hope!
I'm guessing you can still go to the park. They just close the store.
One can purchase trail bars, but that's about it. The good news is that Bowman's Tavern is just up the hill from the Preserve and New Hope is close.
Yes. The parking is free.

I would call them, as it depends on the weather. I like the way longwood gardens tells you what's flowering.
