I'm writing this because this is the second of these experiences we've had here: We walked up to the hostess, presumably to be seated, and the hostess just kind stared at us for several seconds. When she finally figured out we'd like to be seated, she claimed they were full (which would be understandable if it was true, being dinner hour). We indicated to her that there appeared to be a table for four available and I asked if we could have that. She said, "That's for four people." Okay so you're going to turn away customers until a group of exactly four people can take that table? In the middle of all this, she and a waiter began a tense and inappropriate exchange, shouting at each other from inside/outside the restaurant. I said to her, "I see now is not a good time, sorry," and we excused ourselves elsewhere. The times we *have* eaten here, the food and beer selection has been great. We counted it among our favorites in the neighborhood. But now that we've had two similar experiences like this, I'm struggling to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
