Don’t Go! We looked for a table and as we searched for a clean one (not busy and three tables were dirty) but were overtaken by a smell of sewer. We decided to leave and that was a relief given as we left there was a dog at the bar.

The bacon wrapped jalapeños were irresistible, perfectly crispy and creamy on inside. Fresh ingredients and fast service are a recipe for a good time.

They make an excellent, heavy, whiskey sour. The goat cheese filled dates are a treasure. The staff are friendly, positive people. And you can't go wrong with a one piece wood bar.

We hasn't been to Crown for a few years and decided to give it a try. The first thing that surprised us was that there was no table service. You had to order everything at the bar, including food which is what we came for. There was a gal running food out to tables buy she was new and not a server. My wife's pork dish (her second choice after the skirt steak which was not available)was good and the meat in my burger decent but the sandwich was "wet" and the bun couldn't hold it. It was very sloppy. I ended up just using a fork to eat the meat. I kept asking where my fries were (they are a'la carte which is just stupid) but I didn't get them until after I was done with my burger. The chef forgot about them. At first I was told they were out of ketchup..this was well after ordering my fries but the gal found some. The fries were good . I really wanted to like this place and will try again in about a year but it seems like it has turned into more of a drinking place. The bartender and especially the helper gal were friendly at least. I think the chef isn't communicating to the front of the house because we weren't told the skirt steak and ketchup weren't available until 5 minutes after ordering! I hope they do well and yes I do realize there are staffing issues and even supply chain issues right now but when you are forking out $80 for dinner you expect better.

It's a mix that heavily depends on when you go. Weekend nights will have the standard assortment of 6th Ave revelers. All day happy hour Monday tends to bring with it a mix of regulars, service industry types, and value seekers (like myself)
