Evergreen Monroe E/D physician Dr Einstein gave me horrible advice for dealing with COVID symptoms. He apparently failed to read the nurse's notes about what meds I was taking, and advised me to take a medication very incompatible with them. This triggered an adverse reaction, which went untreated for several days as the Evergreen "gatekeepers" failed to contact my primary care physician. The endless automated phone trees, hours of waiting for a return call by the on-call nurses and physicians; who said they really couldn't do anything, but I was free to go to the E/D again, etc. Terrible, horrible patient service. (My Evergreen Duvall primary care physician is superb by the way...)

My daughter went in on an emergency with her husband and dad last December. She turned out to have an infection that made her unable to be cognizant and to answer questions. The staff was absolutely horrible!! They refused to take her as they sat in the ER for over 5 hours. I won't go into all the details as it is too long but NEVER go to that ER. Drive the extra 20 minutes to the main Evergreen in Kirkland. When she finally got copies of her records, what they wrote was not what really happened. Unbelievable!!

I have had to go to the ED twice in 13 months and both times everyone was excellent! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. I had to have surgery and the doctors were just as excellent. I would recommend this ED over the very crowded Providence. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

Went to the er and was told I have a 15mm nodule on my lung. Turns out they read the wrong person's X-ray. Charged me $4200 for an hour long visit. $4200 to be told I likely have lung cancer and a simple blood test. I called the patient advocate and was told they would get back to me. Lol. Not even an apology. I wonder if the 91 year old gentleman got my paperwork like I was given his? When you charge $4200 an hour for care I would expect a much higher level of accountability.
