I love Dr. Abbott but it is so hard to get help with prescriptions here. I have issues with the same medication every single month and this office ignores fax after fax from my pharmacy. I have called them every day since Wednesday (long hold times on the phone!) and they just promise a call back to get me to hang up and continue to take no action to help. Unacceptable patient care in trying to urgently get medication.

I've been a patient of Lakeshore since before they were "absorbed?" by the Borg=Evergreen Health. There have been so many many issues over the past 4 or 5 years with a lot having to do with even getting in to see them. Its like others have noted below - On the phone waiting as I write this. And, all I need is a virtual visit to discuss actions to take to mitigate COVID symptoms I am current experiencing. This virtual visit directed by Evergreen health website and directs you to call. But...how to do this when no one answers the phone...People, this is not the first shortcoming of this Evergreen Health system. I cant tell you the frustrations of trying to communicate with my doctors via email. Initially for the first 3 years, Lakeshore didnt have an email system while they waited for the glacial speed of Evergreen to get it in place. Now that its in place, the message system limits the subject line to like 4 options and the message content to maybe 100 words. I suspect this because they want a Dr. to see you - And thus the full circle do loop now of trying to make an appointment on hold for a potentially serious medical situation. Add the admin issues to the new claims costs under "facility charging" and its a real looser. I like the Doctors I have seen here. Its important to me to keep consistency among my care providers so I dont have to carry around a book of data on past testing/management (records between doctors within Evergreen is another issue for another time). However, this is NOT worth the pain of managing through their archaic, high cost, and poorly managed administrative system. To others out there, save your headache and go with an HMO or physician not associated with a large conglomeration where you wont feel like a number dealing with a wallet sucking scrub of an organization. I got better service for a family member the other day at the walk in clinic at Providence hospital.........pitiful. Passing 30 minutes on hold..............I May update this once they actually answer the phone. PS -Evergreen, dont even ask me to CALL YOU. You call me, Ill put you on hold til Its convenient for me. Also, don't call me until its an urgent situation. I want it to really be an issue for you like it is for me at the present time.......... Edit - It took 42 minutes and Alice? was happy to recite the protocol of self quarantine too me but also indicated my doctor there "he's really booked out, what did you want to see him for?" When I mentioned Covid symptoms and Dr. recommendations she directed me to the evergreen messaging system and rushed me off the phone..........Wow, really?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE waiting 30+ minutes to TRY to make an appointment over the phone to NOT get an appointment with my primary. Day 2 Update: Your call is important to us. Please hold for the next available patient coordinator. Thank you for your patience. Please continue to hold for the next available patient coordinator. Round 1: waited 10 minutes (expected wait time was 8 minutes) and was then disconnected. Round 2: SUCCESS! Waited 24 minutes to NOT get an appointment with my (not very) primary physician. Ten days from today and one week later than I need. I was invited to call back to find an earlier appointment. Good to know my call is important to Lakeshore. Despite the fact that we have been patients/customers at Lakeshore for twenty years (since they Lakeshore was located in downtown Kirkland) I was asked to confirm my first name (David) three times. I honestly thought my patient coordinator was providing some levity, but no.

The logistics of this place are really, really bad. I had an appointment for a muscle related injury. I showed up to the visit an was taken into a room. After waiting a while I was told that the physician I was scheduled with was declining to see me since I had a cough that was left over from a cold I had the week before. It's important to not that this is despite being fully vaccinated and having a negative covid test for said cold (covid test administered at this particular evergreen location, too). I was told I would need to go back out to do the appointment virtually from the car, which is ridiculous when you're asking for someone to assess a physical injury. I was told the only option to see someone in person was to go up to the urgent care upstairs... so that's what I did. Huge hassle and inconvenience. I get that there are concerns for minimizing covid exposure, but give me a break when patient is literally doing everything to follow the rules and guidelines and you still refuse to meet for the booked appointment.
