My dog Bronx has been going to The Dog Resort for about a year and a half now and absolutely loves it. Gets home super tired and ready for bed. Their staff is super nice and helpful and very professional with great attitudes. I would recommend this place to everyone! Bronx will continue to come here even when we move out of the area.

We love The Dog Resort. Great hours and the staff is awesome. Really nice being able to drop my pup off and knowing she’s being loved and cared for. Would definitely recommend buying a package for a better deal, they’ll even feed your dog lunch if you pack them one.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. We took our small chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix puppy there for a trial stay, and less than an hour after dropping him off we were contacted because he had broken a nail. They told us that it’s their policy to contact the owner whenever they saw blood, but they also had no explanation for how our puppy was injured. They indicated that he must have hurt himself playing, because had not cried out in pain and he was still happily playing with the other dogs, so we decided to leave him there for his full stay. Around halfway through the day, we saw on the Dog Resort’s Instagram a video of some of the bigger dogs at the place. In that video, we also saw a raised kennel where our puppy was sitting in a corner, tail curled around his feet and no blanket or bed. This made us a little worried, since we are first time dog owners, so we decided to pick him up a little early because we were uneasy leaving him there. Upon picking him up, however, we were dismayed to see that instead of breaking a nail, he had an entire claw torn off, an injury that there was no way he would have stayed quiet for. The fact that he wouldn’t be quiet for such an injury was reinforced by a few days later when he bumped that same foot and immediately cried out in pain. But then again, if no one was watching him at the time and they had no idea how this injury happened, how could they say wether he cried out in the first place? I can’t help but picture our poor puppy injured like that sitting in a kennel alone for an entire day, and it makes me feel sick. We have since taken him to the vet and they tell us that this claw may never grow back. This is all ignoring the fact that when we picked him up the staff would not let us enter the lobby (though they had that morning) despite us wearing masks and being fully vaccinated. They chose instead to carry him to us, injured and without a leash, at the front door, right next to a busy street where, if he had gotten loose and run, he would surely have been hit in traffic. After all of this experience, I would strongly recommend anyone considering using the Dog Resort for their pet’s lodging to avoid it at all costs.
