While I understand that Doctor's have limited availability, I cannot express the level of disappointment I just had. I was sent to this specific office by my Doctor. Apparently this is the office my Doctor sends anyone with a neurological or possible neurological issue to. My doctor also knows how picky I am when it comes to seeing any doctor in general! So after looking for someone else I finally caved. I decided my Doctor was correct, this would be the best option. Unfortunately, I was just told no possible openings until end of July. The other two doctors until end of May. With that said I can't begin to understand how any neurologist could make anyone wait that long. I certainly don't have that long, especially with the job I work. I also can't understand how the all famous top rated neurologist in Chicago has time for me; but the man my doctor sends me to does not even except new patients. I also cannot understand how my doctor runs a 1 man show and is a specialist., whom has time for all his patients... but this office does not. Maybe let Offices that work directly with you guy's know, so they stop sending people! Some of us don't have time to wait.

John is wonderful and was extremely helpful with making my appointment. Thank you for being so kind. Always have heard great things about Dr Holmes and can't wait to see him to hopefully get some answers.

I needed to see a neurologist because my mom started having severe dizzy spells and our primary care doctor wanted her to be further evaluated. I did research on the best neurologist in Chicago and Dr. Holmes was one of the top doctors listed. I called his office and spoke with John who was extremely helpful and stayed on the phone with me until he was able to squeeze my mom in to see Dr. Holmes. Dr. Holmes spent 2.5 hours with my mother evaluating and testing her. He is a very compassionate and understanding doctor who cares about his patients and it showed. He sent us for an MRI and told me "if I didn’t receive a call from him in a couple of days to discuss the findings of the MRI that I should give his office a call and ask them to let him know that he should look for it." Well, I didn’t need to contact his office because he called me the day after she had the MRI to discuss and he explained it to me in terms I was able to understand. He also referred us to a doctor who specializes in dizziness. An outstanding trustworthy doctor that is rare these days. I am so fortunate I found him.

Dr. Holmes is fantastic. Words can't describe the anxiety I felt when told I needed to seek treatment from a neurologist. I searched through countless profiles and websites to find someone reputable, and I was blessed to find Dr. Holmes. From my first appointment, I knew I landed in the right place. He is patient, kind, and highly knowledgeable. I asked a million questions, and he never became impatient; in fact, he encouraged me to ask until I felt comfortable. I later needed the opinion of a neurosurgeon. When I mentioned that my neurologist was Dr. Holmes, he (the neurosurgeon) raved that I had found one of the best in the field. That solidified what I had already known to be true. I can't recommend Dr. Holmes enough.
