Every Omaha Redditor is raving about Lisa's, so I thought, why not, I just moved here and they finally weren't busy. This place didn't live up to its hype at all. There must have been a gas leak because the place smelled horrible. My husband's and my hash browns were not soft and they made up the majority of our breakfast. If it's the star of the plate, cook them properly! Plus, they were not crispy on the outside. I had a half order of their pumpkin stuffed french toast. Again, cooking the french toast longer would have been beneficial for the special. But more importantly, the lack of flavor of the pumpkin stuffed middle was disappointing. A spot that has been open 20 plus years and is a staple for this neighborhood should really learn to make its biscuits and hashbrowns from scratch. I'll continue to go back to Harold's -- nothing is subpar at that breakfast spot and everything is made from scratch.

Love this place but won’t go there again went there today to eat got there at 100 was told they weren’t seating people anymore with open seats but people walk in behind us they seat !!!!

Good food but the service has went down hill

Waited 40+ minutes for our order. When our food came out, we asked for a to-go container to avoid staying in past closing, and our server got all huffy, left without a word, and sent someone else out with the containers??? Like, okay wow. Got home, found that some of the food wasn't cooked all the way. It was okay, but nothing worth waiting almost an hour for. The only person who was genuinely nice to us was the guy with the to-go containers. He gets the star, and I don't even know his name. 20 minutes for a Pepsi drink! I mean, if you've got a WHOLE DAY to kill, go nuts here. Small business be darned, this experience was one for the books.
