The staff at Labor and Delivery are fantastic. I received the best care I could possibly expect out of professionals. I can't thank them enough, especially the night crew, for taking such good care of my family. My husband and I managed to actually sleep at night while the nurses took care of our newborn son. You guys are amazing. Thank you so much.

I really do like the Naval Hospital, they have always been good to my family and very helpful. The family practice for us has been spot on for 40 years. I like the views and the comfort of the waiting rooms. I know that some think the wait is long for many things but if you consider the number of people they see it is really not bad. Coming on Saturday for pharmacy is really your best bet, lobby opens at 7:30 and windows open at 8:00. The parking is very good and they have great customer service. Just think if you don't like the provider and they are Military they will transfer soon.

Both times I have gone here since my discharge, seeking help, I feel like a ghost. The first time I sought a counselor for help, I ran out of time waiting after checking in, so I left my contact information, and received no call/message/email/anything, after. I just left again, after "checking in," as there seems to be no "available," counselor on a floor largely devoid of patients, but I wouldn't know as communication definitely isn't a priority, and I have already waited some time. Veteran suicide rates are a troubling statistic, and it is extraordinarily discouraging attempting to specifically utilize resources to prevent my personal contribution, and feeling like I am not even worth the time. Obviously, I dont expect to ever go in and immediately be seen, however, I know the staff is much better and more capable than what I have been experiencing.

I have attended this hospital for the last 3 years-- I've showed up to my appointments on time, only to wait for an hour or longer before being seen. I don't think they have ever seen me for an appointment on time. If you go to the pharmacy, be prepared for 2-4 hours of wait. I have never spent less than 2 hours in the pharmacy. Most of the 'docs' do not feel like they are there to practice medicine, instead to get a paycheck. This is one of the worst ran hospitals I've ever attended. On a good note however, the labor & delivery ward has been outstanding delivering both our children and I have absolutely zero complaints with them! Today I chose to leave the hospital waiting room after waiting for more than an hour to be seen for my appointment. I was 15 minutes early, which was my first mistake. At this point, I' would rather deal with the throes of a very severely infected and partially ruptured cyst than to sit in the waiting room for 1 more second, or listen to a corpsman read me a page off google. I will pay out of pocket from now on to attend a real hospital.

Family tree dad.
Have you called 475-4379? That is the FM message phone line.
Okay so a lot of services that aren't offered at our naval hospital you can get a referral down to the Tacoma Army hospital where they have tons of specialty clinics. You do have to get a referral from your primary care provider but we just went down there to speak with a geneticist...which i didn't even know we had or have ever had access to. And don't be afraid to change doctors
Yes they do, but they have to have military ID to get on base.
Marker lights for helo
There is a parking garage, when entering head straight down and you will see it on the left
On base...where the former emergency room was
You need to have her escort you onto base.
Yes but it is contract
If you are a military dependant, retired, or active duty you can just go up and ask them at there office. If you are not then you have to put in a request for information through the Navy contracting office.
It would be better to go to Harrison.
Agree with Christian, walks in for Urgent Care only. Appointments for family practice.
There is a CHI Hospital in Bremerton with an ER. Name is Harrison Bremerton if you want to look it up. There is also a hospital in Gig Harbor.
Yes but you will need a referral from your pcm if youve never been seen for the issue before
They have a visiting Station before you can enter. Go there and they will ask for a valid lincese and more information
