Hands down my favorite place to buy books and gifts. The staff are friendly and helpful. Bonus, they are right next to a great coffeeshop. Two things that go hand-in-hand.

Super helpful. Always stuffed with tons of books and other trinkets, so you'll always find something that you want. Staff is super friendly and will order a book for pickup (usually within the week) if they don't have it! Pretty store, lots of book clubs, local and indie.

This is my favorite indy book store. The owner and staff are so welcoming and attentive. I mentioned to the owner on one visit that I had a little boy who loves zombies. It was just in midst of a small conversation. The next time I came in she had a humorous zombie book picked out to recommend for me - and it was even at my little guy’s reading level. I love our local bookstore! Everyone who works there is helpful and kind, they order any books they don't currently have in stock (which is important with a bookworm kid who loves to read series)and the store always has something fun and interesting they I didn't know I needed.

Janet, We do have some used books in both stores. But if you have valuable books I would check with Powells in Portland. You'll get the best money. We only give in store credit. Any other questions give me a call in the Poulsbo store 360-779-5909- Suzanne
We have limited browsing in effect for the number of people we can have in at one time.. This means masks on in the store, and we ask that you use hand sanitizer that we provide at the front !
Phil, thank you for asking about What Mary Found. We do not have a copy. I looked it up and see it was printed in 1988. You'll have to find it on the used market. I have no idea what books specifically you are asking about, Makeup, skin care, hair? I'd ask a salon that has a cosmetologist on staff. Sorry I'm not much more help. Suzanne
