Super short hike over a long bridge and some sets of stairs. It leads to an elementary school. We didn’t go all the way to the actual school as we weren’t interested in that but turned back around and hike back and decided to go under the bridge and check out the creek a bit. Beautiful little hidden gem, in the middle of a neighborhood. The steps are a good little work out. My 10 year old enjoyed this hike. My 1.5 liked climbing the stairs but needed to be carried most of the way. Can’t use a stroller on this hike as it’s too uphill. You can also go left before you start Fennel Creek Trail, where people ride and walk. We didn’t go down that way but saw a bunch of adorable ducks and baby geese right by the pond. This trailhead does have a small parking lot, which is nice as we ended up parking on the street because we thought there was no parking lot.

Quick walk that will give you a good workout going up the steep stairs. Great view of the creek when starting up the trail and on walking path.

This is somewhat hidden unless you live in the housing development. There is a small parking lot beyond the gates. Actually to the left is a paved trail that runs between a pond on the left and a stream on the right. All flat and super easy. It goes to another side of the development and does not loop. We saw what looked like a rat in the pond. Odd. Because it dived I to the water. But there were two momma ducks and their ducklings! So cute ☺️ Back to the parking lot. The trail straight ahead that starts out on a bridge for a good portion of it. When that ends it's climbs at a pretty good elevation with alot of series of 3 steps and ground. Then it levels when you come to the top by the school. Be aware there is an ant mound to the left off trail. The trail continues by the school and a fence until it turns the corner and ends at another portion of the housing development. An excellent wake you up in the morning kind of walk 😁 Enjoy!

How long of a trail is this?

short right now, 3/4 of a mile of boardwalk and up the hills via stairs. A big chunk of it is getting built out now though. Great for insta pics without having to go on a long trail.

How do you get there? The trail head leads me to a housing community.
