Awesome hidden gem. I live in Tacoma and had never been here. To my knowledge there isn't going to be anywhere with more inventory for fish and reptiles. I've driven up to the 'large' seattle stores or places in Olympia that I know to have an excellent selection for fish / reptiles. They don't even get close to what this place has. If you're a beginner or an expert in aquariums, saltwater or freshwater, they have everything. Almost too much. The staff here are all super knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be taking the 40 minute drive here every time for supplies. I genuinely don't know or care if there are any negative reviews of this place, they're wrong. This place has stuff you can't find anywhere else. You can be doing low tech, high tech, they have more than enough. I'm sort of stunned that this place exists and nobody has ever mentioned it to me. I can't say enough about how awesome this place is.

I went in over a month ago just looking. Fell in love with a betta that was in a tank on hold. Went in the other day looking at bettas didn't see the one I wanted. The girl I dealt with ran to the back and brought her out with a smile and said she was ready to go. I brought the fish home shes happy and doing great. The customer service was amazing and I definitely will be back! Thank you all!

I got a betta 2 weeks ago. Haven’t had a fish since childhood, yes in a bowl too, yikes. This is my re-do. I researched, got my tank cycled, 5.5G, some plants (hope they will grow out more), hardscape, filter and heater with light. He seems happy so far. Follows my finger around, eats well, active swimmer and enjoys adding bubbles to his nest. Nikki was helpful and friendly. I’m hoping to start another tank in the future and will revisit here as the store is clean, organized, and well stocked. Beautiful fresh and saltwater fish. Fish here are healthy great price and friendly staff. Highly recommend Tropical fish world and pets. Also provide cat and dog supplies as well as reptile too!! A bit of everything for your pet but mostly provide sea life products. Love this store and guarantee you will too!!!
