Went to the Emergency Room. While disoriented I was asked to sign forms and when I asked if I could sign them later I was told they would say I had refused to sign the form and walked away. They repeatedly suggested I was drunk when I hadn't had any drink that night and never tested me for alcohol. I was billed for the second most severe type of E.R. visit for an EKG that was done 30 minutes later. No one can explain why I was billed this way so I had to write a hand written letter asking for an explanation and have not received any reply. Go anywhere else. Update: After posting this review Weiss reached out and explained the billing breakdown. While I'm appreciative I standby my 1 star review as a result of the disrespect I received in the E.R.

Believe the reviews, it's a bad hospital. That isn't to knock the people who work there. The Drs, Nurses, techs etc all genuinely do care and do the best that they can but the hospital itself is poorly ran by a for profit company that is recovering from bankruptcy. This means they need to cut costs without cutting into the bottom line, and it shows. If you can, avoid at all costs

Unfortunately, the emergency department is very disappointing. The front desk staff was polite; however, no healthcare provider was available. I have patiently waited for six hours. A female CNA eventually began to speak to me in a very unprofessional manner. There was a clear bias and notable gesture of discrimination throughout the triage process and delaying/refusing medical care to those in need. I am strongly considering on filing a report with the Office of Civil Rights for a more litigating action.

Yes. Their team on the 8th floor is amazing. They perform GCS there. You won't have to worry about discrimination

My answer to you is please get a second opinion. If it's in your network go to Northwestern Hospital. If it's not in your network go to their Emergency room ASAP. I wouldn't wait if I were you, this sounds really serious.
How can someone answer this question. You never stated if you are looking for employees or patient.
I Hate to say it but it's a complete toss up. Every hospital is over run and staffing shortages don't help. Until the infection rate slows down administration won't even think about it. I hate to be so blunt but I don't want to lie to you.

By fee I assume you mean parking fee, and the answer is yes. The valet parking lot is open and free from 6pm to 12 midnight, but any later you will have to pay
