The doctor should make it clear during an appointment that any additional questions I ask during my annual exam will be charged as a diagnostic exam rather than included in my annual check-up, especially considering the “diagnostic”question took less than 3 minutes and i was charged for a 20-29 minute diagnostic session alongside my standard exam. I was only in the room with the doctor for 15 minutes during my entire visit. It’s absurd to drop huge charges that a patient will need to be responsible for without any prior warning. Healthcare being absurdly expensive already prevents people from going to the doctor and your deceptive practices are contributing to that.

CNA’s, nurses, receptionists need to improve. Also hire interpreters with better attitudes, that actually want to work.

I really don't know why people rate this whole facility based on their experience with one doctor, nurse, receptionist, lab worker, or long wait time. It is new, comfortable, and my experiences with a wide range of workers over the last 2+ years have been good.

08/05/22 at 10:25am, Just had a very rude receptionist at the Outpatient Center, was very short with me, while I was trying to get some assistance. Had me on hold for 10mins which I'm ok waiting, I understand clinics and a hospitals get busy. I had 3 questions and she only answered 1. She then hung up on me. I really needed some assistance so I kept calling and she kept hanging up. At some point she answered but said nothing, so I said I'm a pregnant lady that really needs some help, if you're having a bad day could you please forward my call to someone that could help me. She then hung up. I called again and after awhile she finally picked up the phone and said it wasn't her that I spoke to, I said yes it was I recognize your voice (she sounded exactly like someone I know personally) why did you hang up on me? She said well I answered your question so what else should I do. I told her I wasn't done I still need help. She's like well what do you need then? (with an attitude) She didn't apologize, I once again said she could forward my call if she's having a bad day, I just got in touch with the Masonic representative that told me to call this location since you don't want to help me. She said ok well then good bye and she hung up. I did also call Advocate corporate to file a complaint. They said they would report this incident because it's not acceptable and isn't a reflection of their company. It's so wrong to have people like that working to assist pregnant people and I hope my call with her was recorded and she is either fired or suspended.

You need an appointment! Usually a phone call or getting in contact with your pcp will do the trick depending on what service you need.
