This a great in and out hike for a variety of experience levels. Doesn’t take very long and still provides some great views. Trails are marked and mostly well kept. There is a decent sized parking lot, so you won’t have to worry about parking.

This was a beautiful hike! Great are overlooking the lakes. Loved this hike and it was a perfect day. Great for families and pets, even if you don’t hike you can do this. So get up here and do it! 10,000 steps a day keeps the doctor away.

My boyfriend and I saw the sign on the side of the road and we were like yes let's hike this. Once we get out of our car we see folks with backpacks and hiking boots. We are like great, did we make a mistake? The beginning was easy, then it was up, up, and away. This climb was steep. It was not flat. There were huge rocks and tree roots as your path. We did not know what we were getting ourselves into. Until we got near the top and the views were breathtaking. They just got better and better. Then when the fire tower appeared, the view was the best of ADK. We highly recommend this hike for anyone. It isn't the easiest, but it is worth it.

Dragon Nest

Trail starts off as a nice walk then you start climbing tree roots and rocks underfoot. Was a bit of mud but easy to climb fun to walk across the top of the rock, something different. Great views from the top plenty of vistas for pictures fire tower is open
