I came in here 20 minutes before closing and the service team were kind enough to repair my bike so that I could get back on the road and go on with my commute. Thank you for that. Excellent service and knowledgeable service team.

Joy Ride disassembled and packaged a cargo bike for me that I had bought off of Craigslist, from 2000 miles away. They were absolutely gracious and professional through every step of this unusual transaction. The company that shipped the bike was very difficult, requiring multiple sets of photos to ensure the packing job was "good enough". The folks at Joy Ride never complained when I had to keep asking for more pictures, and finally, when I asked them to talk to the shipping company themselves. When the bike did arrive, it was packaged and boxed meticulously -- every tube wrapped in paper, every loose part boxed separately or ziptied to the frame. There wasn't a scratch on anything. I don't live near this shop, but if I could, I would recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you!

I go to Joy Ride for everything my bike needs. I bought it there and have had many repairs and part replacements done over the years. They're always friendly and certainly aren't opposed to helping you learn to do things yourself.

This is a nice shop with outstanding customer service. Sales, repairs, and rentals. They do not have a huge supply of bikes because the facilty isn't very big. They love their vocation and are happy to share information.

Hi Debbie. Thank you for reaching out to Joy Ride! We do not stock Trikes but do special order them and have put many customers on one. Give the shop a call at 360-491-9551 and we can see what we can do to get you the bike you would like.
Hello, Thanks for reaching out to Joy Ride about the brakes on your Sondor XS. We would be happy to help. Give the shop a call at 360 491-9551 to set up an appointment and determine the best time to bring your bike in. Once we have a chance to check things over and determine what we need to do to get the brakes in proper working order, we'll be able to say what it might cost.
Yes, we do spoke adjustments. Give the shop a call at 360-491-9551 and ask for service and we will see what we can do to help you out.
Hi Glen, Thanks for reaching out to Joy Ride! Glad you had a great experience. We are not currently doing any scheduled basic bike repair classes due to COVID, but reach out to the shop and ask for Will. We may be able to set something up.
Hi Nathan, sorry we do not buy or sell used bikes. You could check with California Bike Pickers off of Harrison Avenue on the west side of Olympia.
We are limiting the amount of customers inside the store. Controlling traffic flow inside. Requiring face coverings for staff and customers, and sanitizing of hands upon entry. Sanitizing contact points of customers and employees.
We also have a trainer in stock if you want to take a look and see how it would work with your bike.
Yes they sell helmets and all other sorts of bicycle stuff... It's a really good bike shop!!!!
I believe they will...for a price of course
Best shop in around. If they don't have them, IF, I bet they can order them. And they won't over charge. Good people!!!
They will look at it for free and let you know how much replacement parts cost. Joy Ride does do custom wheels, but they are around 250/wheel, so it may be more cost effective (and safer) to replace it. Kent makes non-standard parts, so replacement parts can sometimes be hard to come by and expensive, but have them look at it.
The cats at Joy Ride can and will get you pretty much any bike part you need. They can also give you any mechanical services to help you out.
No, I have not seen scooters sold there yet. However it may be worth an inquiry as they may be able to order, or at least spike their interest in possibly becoming a retailer for scooters.
We do have a very savoy service manager that is well versed in vintage Schwinn bicycles. While not a true appraisal we can give you some insights on what some of those bikes are going for. Our Schwinn expert is here Monday-Friday.
I'm sure they will also show you how to change the innertube also. There are a few tools you can buy there to do it yourself if it happens again. I always carry the tools and spare tubes. The mechanic, who's name is Trout, is a master at fixing bikes. It will take him less then 2 minutes to do it(time him...lol) They are all friendly and good people.
You are probably better of calling, I am sure they have a number of options to choose from
Probably not, but it might be worth a call
