Good ambiance. Excellent poutine. Cheese curds were some of the best I've had at a restaurant. Unique choices in beer on tap. Macaroni & cheese with corned beef and red onions was quite good. Slightly pricier than other restaurants in the general area that are of similar quality. Will definitely come back.

Eaten here loads of times now. Really enjoy the food each time, never had anything bad here. They know their strengths and they lean into them well. Their corned beef is so good they literally let you order it as a side. Try the bread pudding, it's to die for. I don't drink, so I can't review their bar personally, but the bar area is usually pretty full, so I imagine it's as good as the rest of the place is.

Disappointed in food and flavor. The poutine was gross. The gravy was too salty and the shredded cheese (where were the promised curds???) wasn't even melted over the fries. The whiskey Mac & Cheese didn't taste like anything but the oddly red pieces of salty meat mingled with the pasta. And, again, the cheese wasn't fully melted and the cheese sauce was tasteless. The same red meat was in the Irish Nachos, too. Every dish was a disappointment; either no flavor or horribly salty. Is that just Irish cuisine and I didn't know?? They have a bar too so maybe if you drink enough the food tastes better. Either way, I would no recommend this place.

The green and gold facade of Shawn O’Donnell’s greets you cheerfully from the road. Upon entry, shamrocks everywhere and the smell of good food and good drink invite you in. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. From the very first sip, the tiniest bite, you know you’re in for a treat. The food(especially the corned beef and Guinness stew) are exceptional. You can’t go wrong with a stop at Shawn O’Donnell’s!

I would call the establishment rather than asking customers that question.
