Such a great place to be Saturday mornings, with fresh local food and wares, music, and good eats.

Great market. Some of the most beautiful produce you'll find anywhere. Other interesting booths with hand crafted foods and wares.

Great cozy farmer market. Everyone is from the island and you can find vegetables, bacon, ciders, beer, fish, etc. Baked good also look amazing. They also have live music which is great. Fantastic for families as well as a weekend stroll. Plenty of parking in the area (at worst you'll walk a couple of blocks) but do come early for your favorite pickings.

Loved it! Excellent selection, even at the end of the season and on a rainy day. Vendors are friendly and offer a wide variety of produce, as well as meats, flowers, silver, baked goods, among other things. I suspect not all the vendors were in attendance today (17Sep2016), which makes it probably the best farmers' market I've ever been to, even WITHOUT everyone there! My only ding (see next paragraph) was the lady I purchased chevre from had a small display of what looked like samples, but weren't. I don't know if WA state law prohibits offering samples, or if that is their farm policy, but if I just paid $13 for a small container of cheese, it would be kinda nice to be allowed a sample, right? Ah! From the Farmers Market Handbook: "Finally, at the market, farmers and food vendors must follow the local health department rules regarding food handling, storing, and sampling. The specific regulations vary by county, so managers should be sure to know the rules. In general, hot and cold foods must be kept at appropriate temperatures. Vendors offering samples must have sneeze guards, proper hand wash facilities, gloves and serve samples so there is no bare hand contact. In addition, the local health department may require the farmers market and many vendors to obtain a permit to offer chef demos or other on-site food preparation." OK. Ding retracted.
