I always like Best Buy just because they have a wide variety of electronics, computers, phones, etc. and good audio and video equipment as well. Very helpful staff very friendly service would always recommend using the store here in Ames.

The in-store experience was five stars. The washer was supposed to be delivered. I left work early to be at the house for the delivery. They did not call to tell me that the delivery had been rescheduled for 10 days later. I cannot go 10 more days without a washing machine. We cancel the delivery and picked up the machine instead.

No there does not appear to be anyway to reach someone quickly. Even I need to reach a manager with no luck.
Yes geek squad will go to you. To install and repair products in your home. Schedule an in-home appointment and or in-store visit on best by website. (Location: Ames, IA 50014)
The Geek Squad at Best Buy does not do that in store.
Mask up
You get rewards which can be used for later purchases
Anna Cruz...no Best Buy in Fort Dodge
I have tried to call the last 2 hours n all I get is a darn recording!!!!!
I assume they are still taking them, they have their receptacles out.
They do accept printer cartridges, to my knowledge they accept all for recycling
Depends on the TV but usually any Monitors are $25 for recycling.
Only one model in store
Yes your computer will be recycled to the point that no data can be recovered by it. Best buy is not allowed to access any personal data
Around $100 for one time diagnosis, but you can get a whole year of unlimited diagnosis, software support and labor for about $200. (Physical parts are extra.) Occasionally if its a quick/easy thing the Geek will just do it gratis - but dont count on that.
They can troubleshoot any software issues that you might have. They will also make sure to tell you what was wrong with the computer and what things on the computer is not needed and supposed to be on there.
Probably any hardware store should have an adapter kit of some sort.
Try eBay
I have learned its best to be polite to get anywhere in life. People that work dealing with the public deserve respect. They put up with all kinds of people and all kinds of questions,so be polite,be as accurate asking your questions,ALWAYS say PLEASE AND THANK YOU. after all thats how you would like to be treated. There is no dumb questions but there are dumb answers, have a sense of humor and you will go far in life. I dont see any questions asked here, but i do see rudeness, which is uncalled for. When a customer really got my goat,I answered with a HAVE A NICE DAY,as the person tried to get the last word in. Kindness kills, and really it works..its better than when the boss comes up saying this person complained and you said,"have a nice day" no way do you get in trouble and the complainer looks like a fool...so really everyone take a step back,be kind to one another. And HAVE A NICE DAY!
You may have to go to a friend's house or possibly a public library. Frankly who uses stand alone GPS any more? You have it on most smart phones for free with tools like Google maps and apps like Waze. Give that a try Mary. Jeff
This isn't a chat with the store thing. It's Google...
Always check hours
If you can wedge them in there and your stereo, pre-amp and amp have the appropriate Ohms no problem. If you are still worried have a professional install done. Geek Squad can do it for you, then you won't be rolling in a mobile fire hazard.
