Open only to appointments. I sat there for 3 hours on hold waiting to schedule an appointment just to have the phone hung up on when finally my call was taken. Better believe I didn't stick around for any more phone calls.

The only complaint I have is that they recertify you about every 6 months. I just had to have my medical help recertified this month, (like my disability will change after 10+ years. And I'm over 65 now so Medicaid should be automatic, right!).

I love this office. The staff are very kind and helpful. The front desk staff have always been patient and answered my questions politely and thoroughly to the point that oftentimes I don’t need to speak to anyone else. I have never had to wait long to see someone if I need to. DSHS has saved my life during an extremely difficult time. I am so grateful for their help that I changed majors in school so I could go into public service.

Currently due to Covid-19 it is by appointment only. Call 1-877-501-2233 to speak to a customer service agent about setting up an appointment.
3,4 or 2 from downtown or the 48 from South part of the city or north park. All have a few blocks walk from the stop to the office though.
That cannot be answered through Google maps. It is private information so you need to call or go online and provide information to verify your identity before it can be given out to you. It also prints on your receipts when you make an EBT purchase.
