Nice large wooded area with trails and parking.

Beautiful forest trails with many mushroom varieties and a huge rock that was moved from the San Juan Islands during the Ice Age. Our family loves hiking the trails which are fairly flat and well maintained!

Great series of trails. They are well kept and suitable for all ages. Watch the trails, there are a lot of interesting critters crossing them.

First rate hike for New Year Day 2018. Make sure you bring a "new" map with trail names. Otherwise, you could spend a lot of time finding your way out. It also helps to read the history of the woods as it helps you to appreciate what you see on your hike. I always feel humbled when I see the stumps of old growth trees felled many years ago. But seeing the efforts to restore this area is so encouraging.
