Basically only visited the parking area as I was supposed to be meeting a friend who decided not to show up. while I waited I cleaned out and organized my car lol But even there, the beauty of the wooded area was fantastic as well as the several deer I got to see as well. Maintenance came by to empty trash and do toilet paper in the porta potty and even asked if I had garbage in my car to get rid of. (How nice very sweet guys!)

This is a Bare bones park. No covered picnic area. Very steep walk down to the beach with no hand rail. They could easily improve this area with some wood chips or gravel on the walk way.

Nice little beach, there's parking, honey buckets, and just a short walk to the water. There's even a swing set and an area to sit, relax, and picnic. Beautiful view from the other side of Gig Harbor. Side note, the road o get to the beach gets a little tight so be careful.

Cheez Man

Loved this little beach that looks over the water to Commencement Bay. Was a partly cloudy day and no pictures of Mnt. Rainier but was still able to get some shots of the Narrows Bridge and Ruston waterfront along with the Point Defiance Ferry Terminal with the HD camera (no HD pics here as of posting). Walked the whole length of the beach and took about 20 to 30 minutes. Portable toilet on site. If you're in the Gig Harbor area, it's for sure worth a visit.
