Right at Home has been a great place to work for the past 7 years. The office employees are hands on and do the best they can to provide our client's proficient care and they work hard on appreciating their employees with quarterly raises, gift cards, praises and prizes.

Questions & Answers

What is a care plan?

A care plan is a schedule of routine services that are organized to address some of the care recipient’s most pressing needs like bathing, medication management, grocery shopping and laundry. A care plan is unique to each client and can evolve as needs change. Unlike a doctor’s plan of care, the Right at Home care plan addresses mostly nonmedical issues.

Is using a home care agency better than hiring a private caregiver?

Right at Home takes care of screening and vetting caregivers, and conducting caregiver background checks so you don’t have to. You can save yourself a great deal of time and enjoy peace of mind knowing that a team of experienced professionals has your back. Families who hire independent caregivers must take on the responsibilities of being an employer, which includes performing their own caregiver background checks, managing payroll and tax withholdings, and providing professional liability insurance. There are no backup caregivers for sick days, and it can be challenging to locate, hire and train caregivers.

I am trying to help my brother locate a service that would come to his home to care for his 65 yr old wife. She fell & broke both shoulders & needs care throughout the day since she has immobilizers. Does Medicare take care of the expenses?
