You must have a membership to purchase at checkout. Then you can use the Mastercard from Sam's Club. If you shop every 3mo at Sam's Club, the rewards given to you pay for the membership. If you shop like I do (every month or every 3wks) you get to pay for your membership for free and have money in the bank! It's worth it. Just go and become a member. You won't regret it!

If you have to work the membership out in installments and you probably can't afford to shop there everything his in bulk

Yes they do. Most of the time it is while you shop and it doesn't take very long. The price per tire is wheel, warranty, mount, balance and a road hazard coverage

08/22/18 I just called Sam's Sioux City, Iowa. She said there is a one day pass but you will pay an extra 10% on your total purchase. The gal I talked to said I would need to go to the membership counter with my drivers license and they would give me the one day pass card.

I think they use to. So many things have changed since where they have Costco who just discontinued the membership in Sioux Falls may handle it a little different. Now the visit you do make to Sam's is well worth the membership even for small families. You find ways to make quantities work. We're a family of two and it works.
