Always overcrowded and noisy. Went on previous Monday and people talking loudly and making phone call even some part of region marked as quiet.

Considering that City Hall & the Senior Center is also located here, and with the Rec Center right next door as well as the Police Station across the street, you’d think they would do a better job of both keeping the place clean and safe. There are little booze bottles and other sorts of litter all around the parking lot. Often you come across someone’s vomit. Not surprised if there was also a dirty needle or two. At one point in time there was a tent in the wooded area just west of the library, and there are all sorts of unsavory characters coming through there. At times it’s felt like you were in downtown Seattle and not at a library in Lynnwood. I won’t get caught here after dark alone, and have even felt unsafe at times during the day. It’s unfortunate.

This is the best library around. I live in Everett, closer to a very noisy library at Mukilteo, but always go to Lynnwood Library. Nowhere else beats or even comparable to this place. The staff are amazing, so helpful, the study area is the best, tremendously quiet and everyone respects that. I would change this place for anywhere. Simply amazing. Love it here.

I got my first ever library card last week and the gentleman at the counter was so patient and polite explaining to me how it all worked. They also have a phenomenal selection of programming books which are so expensive and I really wanted to read hard copy versions instead of ebook rips. This place is the best.

Generally public libraries don't carry textbooks. I did take a quick look in the online catalog. The library does own a number of books on the topic of massage therapy, but I'm not sure if they would meet your requirements. You may want to check the online catalog or go to the library to see what is available. I strongly recommend you talk to a librarian about what is available
The laptops available to customers for in building and out of building use do not have optical disk drives installed. We do not have any external disk drives for check out at this time. You could use one of the 38 available desktop PCs (with disk drives) in the Lynnwood Library. Thanks for your inquiry.
I suggest that you call the library.
Yes, there are deposit boxes outside the building, to the left of the main entrance.
