They took out the benches. So disappointing. Like I'm out of shape and needed those occasional places to sit and rest. Now, I don't want to exercise. Benches are very much needed on the bike trail. How dare the city spend the money to remove them. OUTTA LINE, OLYMPIA!! OUTTA LINE!!!

This is a beautiful 1.3 mile walk with friends or family just long enough to get your blood flowing. We walk it at least once a month.

Watershed park is great for a short stroll. Excellent for kids with an explorative nature, or photographers looking for unique shots. I was surprised to find the hatchery there with a viewing window, and saw dozens of salmon in the stream nearby. The small native history exhibit there was also nice to stumble upon.

Fabulous walking trail right in the heart of Olympia. Port a potty at the Henderson parking trailhead and bathrooms at the pedestrian parking on Eastside St. Some steep grade during a small portion of it, but easy for small children 4+ and dogs.

There are lots of steps and decent hills. As there isn't anything prohibiting it, I wouldn't recommend it.

The trail is well maintained so there are few blackberry bushes. Lots of huckleberries when they are in season!

I drove by and the small lot was full. I retreated and went to go do something else. Is there a public place to park a car close by that isn't too much of a walk? I'm not super familiar with the streets of downtown or this area.

The Henderson Boulevard parking lot is indeed small.. If you were to continue up the hill past this lot is Eskridge Street. There is a church at this intersection with plenty of street parking on Eskridge. If you walk about a hundred yards or less back down Henderson you'll find another entrance to Watershed Park that will take you through the same beautiful walkways only from a different starting point.. have fun!
