I stayed there in 1995 and it's a nice place I was there the other day looking around and he's built another one anyway he's got one for $75 for two people $10 additional for three or more people for two nights I believe I'm sorry you can Google him if you want to speak directly with him and he's got another one for 85 and night for two people $10 additional person and he has another one for $90 for two nights for two people I'm sorry that might be one night I'm not positive but I think it's two nights$10 extra for a third or more person but I just Googled Barren Creek Cottages Bay City Road Golconda I can give you his phone number if you want it it'll just take another minute you can talk to him right now if you want to the phone number is 1618-6384004

2 of the cottages are on a spit of land between the Ohio River and Barren Creek and, there is a public boat ramp/launch on it

Yes. Pots and pans. Dishes and silverware.

There is a coffee maker but, no dvd player that we noticed, although there is a tv. We spent most of our time outside.

Yes. At the two we have stayed in, there is a dock at each cabin. You walk right off the back porch, down the stairs to the dock.

They're not doing well these days so I help them with everything, but to answer your question the 2 bedroom that sleeps 4 is $75/night for 2 people and $10 for each additional. The 3 bedroom (sleeps6 is $85/2 and $10 ea. add. The rustic cottage (sleeps 11) is $90/2 and 10 Ea. add. There is a 10% county lodging tax we have to add to the total. I think they are, but not for aggressive pets. So our pits get sitters. Cuz ya know they're considered aggressive. You can always call Joan and RC and ask them. We've been there a few times the past 12 years.
