When I moved to the area last year, I chose my plates to support this park! We visited in the late summer and had a great time but with covid still lingering, it didn't feel cozy or inviting. We just left WILDLIFE SCARY PARK and WOW, we were so happy that we decided to check this event out! It was fun for the whole family...kids and adults! We were there as two adults and had a great time! I was so impressed with the flow, food, and decorations! Great job to everyone involved!

Once great park. Now it's time to close the doors.

πππWe visited Wildlife Prairie Park for their Halloween themed Wildlife Scary Park, which included a train ride through the park with Halloween lights, decor, and a variety of Halloween-type creatures, some real and some fake, off to the sides in the woods. This was for for all ages; slightly creepy, nostalgic and cute, although this could vary individually on perception. The train dropped us off near the old school, where children could visit different historical buildings or wildlife areas to go trick-or-treating for candy. Paths were lit in colorful Halloween lights, as we hiked through the park to explore on the way to the gift shop and consession areas. After shopping and eating a snack, we waited for a tractor hayride back to the parking area to go home. We had a wonderful time with our family! π₯°β€οΈπππPlease note that this is not the best time to see the actual wildlife animals, if visiting at night for this annual Halloween event.

I love the place! Went there today during Halloween it looked so nice at night. The school house was cool! My favorite parts are the hayride, food, and trails. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Park!
U do have to wear a face mask while riding. We just went Saturday and had to skip the train. It was a really good day. We also went ahead and paid for a membership. Just $85.
Bears, foxes, wolves, coyote, farm animals, bald eagles, hawks, owls, reptiles, otters, racoons, badgers, to name a few.
Yes we have several picnic areas throughout the park to enjoy. We ask if you bring a picnic that you leave nothing but your footprints to keep our park clean and welcoming for guests and wildlife.
Very clean
I believe it is included in the entrance to the park. Which is $9
No
Currently the Adventure Store is open Saturday-Sunday 11 AM - 4 PM. We do have Wildlife Prairie Park branded merchandise available at our Ticket Gate (open daily 9am-4:30pm) and Snack Shack which is open Saturday-Sunday 11 AM - 4 PM.
The TOUCH cabin is Megan's Lodge. You can call to get details and to make reservations. The cost is that of a membership and then cleaning fee...around $120ish for the entire stay.
The annual pass is not much more than a one time trip with a family, plus special events and discounts
No, it is graveled/paved walking trails
It is a nature park. And yes there is a train. However, do not think it is a full size train! It is a small electric powered train that meanders through the park. There is also fishing, hiking and camping available.
Not that I saw. Doesnt look like anyone is hardly there when we were. They do have the train going still. Do need to wear masks on it.
$9 each
The train is running. Masks are required to ride. The giant slide is open and the train stops there. $5 all day wristbands are available at the main gate.
Wildlife Prairie Park opened to members only on May 5th. Our hours are Tuesday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are many membership levels, starting at $55. You can purchase a membership online or at the ticket gate, but online is preferable to decrease interaction at the gate. You don't need an appointment while we are members only. We will open to the general public sometime in June, hopefully in time for Father's Day weekend.
Yes there is and they have rooms to stay during the week or make a weekend get a way
They have one more weekend for Wildlife Scary Park. Oct 25th through the 27th 5:00pm-10pm on Friday and 2:00pm to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday
Not sure what you're asking for, there are pamphlets for this park but if you're able to access the internet (and by posting this question I assume you can) you can just visit their website, lots of information about the park there
