Facility very outdated. No phones allowed. Only 2 courtrooms with EXTREMELY rude Bailifs. Pray you never have to have a hearing here as they give you no notice for a hearing, (4days)(and this was a civil case) how that is even legal idk. So be prepared to have your rights as a human stripped from you if you go here.

This courthouse is still in the BC era... before cell phones. Strictly prohibited and confiscated. So, if all your data and information is on your phone, you’re out of luck. Can’t imagine how attorneys operate in this environment. They probably have professional courtesy. Tough luck if you’re a mere citizen.

The historic Morgan County Courthouse was built in 1868. Due to security and ADA laws, the public must enter thru the North entrance, across from the County Jail. You actually enter into the basement.
