It seems the hours on Google are not correct. It says open until 7, but City Hall closes at 5. I went at 6 and the doors to the building were locked. That said, whoever the lady is that helped me was incredibly nice!

This office only issues the Marriage License. To read about getting married at St Louis Courts, please visit our site at http://www.stlouiscityrecorder.org/marriage/newmarriage/courthousewedding.html
Our hours are Monday-Thursday 8 AM to 7 PM. Fridays 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM
Application was like $48. The marriage is more depending who you find ordained to do so. We found elope in St Louis on web for $60. Now the certificate is another $12 after you turn in the filled out application.
There's an online application you fill out (you and your partner) then both go into city hall and file the rest in person. Both of you need your license/ ID. You must be getting married within 30 days in MO. Hope that helps, you can always call them for more info.
You give them your ssn# and when you sign your marriage license they list what marriage # this is for you and your new spouse.. so I would say yes
Mine turned it in 3 days later. The court DID lose mine before it was recorded though so we had to redo the form
Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
I was there dropping off my marriage license last Monday and they said no courthouse marriages until further notice.
You have to apply for license first, both persons have to be present, Then you can be Married,by Minister or Court House Judge and Yes you will receive Marriage license same day you Apply
Our office does not maintain a register for ministers. All you have to do is ensure couple sign in correct spot and you sign in correct spot
