Yes they are accepted but I think you have to pick up after they use it and you have to have them on a leash

They're supposed to be on leash, but we take our dogs off leash when we know they won't be bothering anyone and we have them under control. They go back on leash when they get out of the water.
It's a public use area, no reservations required or taken.
Yes. The area has two parts. One part has picnic tables and restrooms, and the other part has a boat launch.
