Excellent sake and sake cocktails. Place is cozy with interesting decor and good food. We'll definitely be back Also hosts the best burlesque show in the Poconos every couple of months.

My husband and I saw a segment featuring Sango Kura on WNEP, and we were so intrigued! We are foodies always looking for new places. What a great unique place! We had the signature flight, shared the shrimp tempura, and each had a bowl of homemade Ramen in pork bone broth...everything was amazing!!! The only complaint I have is that for $9 the tempura appetizer could have at least 4 shrimp. We will definitely be back, so much more on the menu we want to try!!!

We did not expect to find a sake brewery in the Delaware Water Gap. After an 11 mile hike, we were excited to see if a place this far into PA could actually have good Japanese food, and honestly this place is just absurdly good. I live in Philadelphia and now just wish it was closer. The ramen is incredible, as is the takoyaki. All of the sake was wonderful. I seriously hope this place thrives, because we're definitely going to plan more hikes in the area just to have an excuse to come here again. The sake is delicious and the variety is huge. The food is an insane value, especially for being amazing quality. And everything about this place is just very cool. Will be back.

Do not book a nearby hotel on a Monday night with the specific intention of spending the evening tasting sake because the brewery is closed on Mondays. If you do make this mistake, my advice is to ask in all of the various local bars, stores and other establishments whether they know any place where the sake can be sampled. After many enquiries, you may discover that it is available in one bar which is a 10 minute drive away. Upon calling the bar to confirm, you may have to speak to 3 different people before you get positive confirmation that the sake is available. It is worth the effort and the drive.
