Its so surprisingly large. Like, they have grounds in the back for hotel guests, and theyre hugeeeee. I stayed here for a week at the motel and then decided to stay at their airbnb for another week instead of going back home. The motel rooms were really plain and boring but a rly good price, the airbnb was really big and really nice. The wi-fi was shockingly fast everywhereee on the property. ive never stayed at a hotel with wifi good enough for gaming with no lagg, that was a nice surprise.

The son was the one we had the chance to talk to and he was very nice! Although the pictures are definitely deceiving, when we had gotten to our room the bathroom floor has puddles of water, the toilet paper holder was broken, there was mold on the shower curtain, and the towels were not only very thin and small but also dirty. $150 bucks for one night, we expected what we seen from the pictures but it wasnt anything comparable.

Needed a room for one night while on a short Pocono vacation to enjoy some fall attractions. The Glenwood Inn & Conference Center seemed like a centralized, middle-of-the-road option. When we arrived, the place looked abandoned. The inviting Glenwood Inn sign from the picture was surrounded, not by beautiful flowers, but by crime scene tape. I assume it's being renovated. To find the lobby, you need to follow a series of pink "check-in --->" signs taped to various cars and structures. Once we made it to the lobby, we were greeted by a pleasant young man. He welcomed us and let us know this was a "family run business," who wanted to make our stay a pleasant one. To do that, he held my credit card and driver's license to allow us time to check out our room. He would only charge it once we made sure the room was satisfactory. A warming gesture, we thought. We stayed in Cabana 17 - a king size bed w/ whirlpool room. The moment we stepped foot inside, we realized satisfactory was about as good as it was going to get. The room had a certain odor. Must mixed with air freshener? Whatever it was, you could taste it. There was sparse, mismatched furniture, only one hideous light on the wall, and a bathroom window with no curtains. The mattress felt like it was found under an overpass. Not comfortable in the least. Several crickets had entered from under the gap in the door. They became our security guards as the songs played by their tiny legs muffled the sounds of banging doors and folks blaring music next door. All of this being said, it's clear they took time to clean the room. In fact, you could see bleach stains on the walls. At least I hope it was bleach. So props for cleanliness. We did use the whirlpool, but when we woke up in the morning, we saw it was covered in dirt and silt. We chalked it up to the remnants of "Pocono water," because it seemed clean when we got in. Cannot speak to the pool, food, or conference facilities as we did not need/use them. My biggest gripe is that, with tax, this room cost $216. Yes, we could've backed out after assessing the room, but we didn't want to be rude, as it's clear this is a small, family-owned business. However, this room should've been $79 tops. Not sure we'd stay there again, but wish the family the best in rehabbing what appears to have once been a popular Pocono tourist destination.

The Glenwood Hotel provided my family with a lovely stay at their peaceful motel. We had the time our life. Felt like a blast from a great past. I felt extremely fortunate to have found this motel. Good times! Everyone should give this lodge a chance. You will love the close shops and great eateries. Clean rooms and wonderful shower. Beautiful pool and excellent management. Who could ask for anything more?
