This school is great for learning phlebotomy. The teacher I had was the best she was very good at making sure we understood what we were learning that day. But the best part of this school is the director, Bronte Clifford. She’s amazing and worked so diligently with her students even from a different state. I couldn’t have done this without Ms. Clifford.. not only did she make sure I completed school but she has worked with me ever since … it’s been a year since I graduated and she’s still here for me in my career opportunities writing amazing reviews of me as a student and helping me to better my career path. Thank you Ms. Clifford and the St. Louis school of Phlebotomy team for getting me where I am today.

wish I had taken the bad reviews seriously. I don’t recommend this school. It’s cheaper than most places but that is with reasons. Firstly, the site NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. We were not informed we had to be in scrubs and that there will be an ADDITIONAL PRICE FOR THE EXAM. We found out about the exam by accident because a conversation was taking place that sparked another student to ask “Is there a cost for the exam?” The instructor said yes and so she was asked how much and she didn’t know. She’s been teaching this class too long not to have been able to answer that question for us. We are not the first class she taught. Also, what is expected of me as a student I expect the same from the instructor. If we must be in uniform so should the instructor. Atleast 45min to an hour of each class our instructor talked about stuff that had nothing to do with our learning. So surely we lost 4hrs total. Asking questions was a mistake because it only got her off track and she seem to always have a hard time redirecting herself back to the topic it always leads to some other conversation unrelated to class. Another instructor interrupted class one day saying to our instructor “Are you ready”. She responded “Oh, you’er ready for a break?” 😒So what the instructor do? Calls for a break so her and her buddy can take a smoke break. As if we didn’t already loose an hr. My $650 I paid was to be lectured for 3hrs every Tuesday and Thursday. I did not get that!! She had a student come talk to us about a job that didn’t hire what we were even taken up. The student talked 45min orlonger. Her point was made 10min in, so the rest of the time she’s just talking in circles. 😒 smh. So again more of my LEARNING TIME WAS WASTED. First day of lab no one was instructed to wash their hands. So I took it upon myself to wash my hands in hopes everyone else follows. Thankfully, they followed my lead. Hand hygiene is number against spreading germs. Class NEVER STARTED ON TIME!! Why?!?!? So clearly our time was not value to them at all. I recall the instructor telling us we couldn’t be on our phones during class, but I guess that don’t apply to her?! Her texting was the main reason we didn’t start on time. If those cameras truly work in lab the director. should consider reviewing those and see how bad of an instructor they have. There wasn’t a lot of teaching in lab. Her teaching was horrible, that they can see for themselves just by viewing the cameras. Rolling back cameras will support everything I said. Hopefully it has voice recordings too. I want half my money BACK BECAUSE I WAS CHARGED FOR CLASS LECTURES AND WE INFACT LOST a lot our learning time. Future students, Good luck!

Very unprofessional! I’ve called multiple times with no answer and when I finally got an answer I was greeted with rude customer service and attitude by Riquel (if that’s how you spell her name) would not recommend trying to go to school here!

You can wear regular clothing but make sure you have closed toe shoes on because you'll be in lab first day. The scrubs aren't really mandatory until like the 4,5 week. No artificial nails, or non natural coloring in hair. They'll give you time to get them off but if you can go without while in school including extern, do so. Good luck, the teachers are great, I just finished my program last month! Ask questions.. And have fun!

Hi Melissa! You will be ready to work immediately upon graduation since Missouri does not require licensure for phlebotomists. You can utilize your certificate in other states, although a couple states may have additional requirements, such as California. Regarding Keva’s answer, this is incorrect since there is no licensure available in the state of Missouri. If you are interested in national certification, you’ll be eligible for that immediately upon graduation!
Hi Teighlor! If you've paid your registration fee, you're all set to start class. We'll provide books and supplies on the first day, just make sure to wear close-toed shoes and bring your first payment plan installment if you'd like to sign up for a payment plan. Otherwise, you can also bring payment in full. We're looking forward to seeing you in class soon!
It's great! I'm currently taking classes there. It's only $750 for the whole course and they will take payments.
