Two questions, 1, is this just a certificate or a actual license to draw blood? And 2, is this certification good only in Missouri? or other states?

Hi Melissa! You will be ready to work immediately upon graduation since Missouri does not require licensure for phlebotomists. You can utilize your certificate in other states, although a couple states may have additional requirements, such as California. Regarding Keva’s answer, this is incorrect since there is no licensure available in the state of Missouri. If you are interested in national certification, you’ll be eligible for that immediately upon graduation!

It is only a Certificate. Go read the reviews Mellissa Kendall before making your decision. Go on Google and look up Reviews for STLPHLEB. Most of the hospitals want Licensed Phlebotomist. Lab Corp require you be Licensed and in the field for at the least 2 years. The best of luck to you.
