Nice park, friendly dogs and owners for the most part.

This is a large and fairly well maintained dog park. users are expected to clean up after their dogs although some do not so do you watch your step. There are three sized parks within the park itself for dogs, a large area for large dogs a smaller area for medium-sized or elderly dog and a smaller contained area for a little bitty dogs. Additionally there are many other pads in and around the park itself so you don't have to go into the dog park to give your dog a great walk. The main entrance has ample parking but if you use the back entrance, be aware there are limited areas to park. The only restrooms nearby the dog park are porta potties but just down the road in both the ball field and the play area are real restrooms. The dog park does have a couple of faucets inside the park itself to get some water for your dog. There are bowls there but I would definitely bring my own if I were you. It would be very important to make sure your dog has all its shots and any specialty shots so that it does not pick up any diseases from other dogs in the park, but with shots it should be fairly safe.

I have seen people there as late as 10 pm but the park says closes at dusk. I'd go in the daylight if it's your first time
All areas are completely fenced. There are 3 areas you can choose from: for large, medium or small dogs. Lots of fun.
