This library sits among many trees and a busy, yet calm road. The inside is very clean and open. I love that there are so many large windows that the natural light is everywhere. I do wish there was more art or "community" touches. I think it would give the library more of an identity to the area. It is a public space, however, and that alone is reason enough to utilize and enjoy the library. They also have a very large computer area and plenty of selection in all areas. I hope to visit the maker's space sometime. I was surprised and happy to see that I arrived on one of the days they stay open later. Make sure to check when they close on the day you visit, as times vary.

Very helpful, and patient staff. It's hard to hear myself/thoughts. Silence is golden! Might have to hike up a mountain.

Not a pig one, but cozy clean and super nice staffs. The books are so new in here, also lots foreigner book even for kids. Glad I’m found this library.

It's a great library. They have a huge selection, comfy chairs, and study rooms to reserve. The staff are awesome. Ask for anything and they drop everything to help. The free wifi is nice, especially since the building seems to be in a dead spot for cell coverage. The self-checkin machines are nice, but can be frustrating when random books need to rescan a 2 or 3 times before it finally works, but that's survivable and the email confirming the checkin is a nice paper trail.

We are unable to accept donations during Phase 2 of the pandemic. We will share information on our website, kcls.org, if that changes.
Building is still closed to the public. Curbside borrowing and book drop returns are the only services.

We are not able to invite patrons inside library buildings at present. The Washington State Safe Start plan was updated on October 6. Libraries are now permitted to provide limited services to customers in person. In the current Phase 2, service can not exceed 25% of building capacity. KCLS is working on plans and protocols to accommodate this recent change. The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority as we develop our reopening plans. Expect to see: Modified operations at some or all library buildings with limited hours, services and access to technology. Physical distancing and health protocols remaining in place. Curbside to Go and online services and programming continuing through all phases. More details and dates will be announced when plans are finalized. https://kcls.org/news/kcls-response-to-october-6-safe-start-plan-updates/
Meeting rooms are currently closed. Rooms will not be available for bookings until further notice. We will post information on our website, kcls.org, when meeting rooms are available again.

As long as you have enough weekly units for your print job, it shouldn't cost a thing 😁.
Printing goes by units, you are allotted 75 units free every week I believe. Black and white printing is 1 unit per page and color printing and color printing is either 2 units, or 3. You will need a library card so bring it if you have one that. IF you dont have one it is easy and absolutely free to get one just bring proof of address. Hope this helps! -Matt
There is a class scheduled for November 8, 2018. https://kcls.bibliocommons.com/events/search/q=aarp%20driving/event/5a0487de8a3f6d35005e0fb3
I believe not. I think they will take them and put them for sale in the "friends of the library" section. The money then goes to library funding. What you donate doesnt go into circulation.
They're open
Yes, i counted four different formats when i used the library online catalog on the library website. It took a few seconds. You might want to try it. Or call the library. Or drop by.
