It was our first time visiting Seattle specifically the Green Lake District. While one of our friends was looking at fresh cut flowers across the street, we walked into Zoka and greeted by Morgan who took time to explain the various coffee and chai drinks to us. The customer service here is top notch.

Coffee is average. Not sure what all the raving is all about when other places like Victrola, Vitta, Santos coffee have way superior beans. But what really disappointed me is the terrible customer service the one gal at this store displays to customers. Not sure what her deal is but she acts as though she hates every single one of us and that we are there simply to bother her. Not coming back. There are a ton of great shops in Seattle. There’s no need to tolerate this kind of nonsense

I didn't get a coffee here but that's also why I wanted to come leave a review. I had a good experience at Zoka Kirkland and this Zoka location looks so cozy so one day I came over from Capitol Hill to check it out. The interior is indeed pretty cool, lots of people were chatting or working the vibe was convivial. As I waited in line to order, I first heard the barista (who was working alone) hurled a paper cup onto the floor somewhere, then he put a jug on the counter with such force that it made a loud "Dang!" sound. I told myself, "No, I don't come all the way here to get a coffee from this guy", and I left.

Came here with my father who is very picky with his coffee and wanted a flat white which they did not have. They tried to make him something similar which he enjoyed, but what was truly remarkable was the barista came out after my father finished his first coffee and gave him a latte in the classic way that they usually make it. It was so kind of her to go out of her way to make an extra coffee and ensure that my father was happy!! Both drinks were delicious and made by someone who loves what they do. Such a lovely experience.
