I’m not one to complain publicly, but I just spent $8.50 on a single beverage. I asked to use the bathroom and was told it’s closed on Sundays because of the Farmers Market. I’m almost 7 months pregnant. I’d understand refusing restroom service to non customers, but I purchased and tipped (got my order wrong, too). That’s a silly rule to implement without exceptions.

*Update* they have a nice Carignan wine “Blu”: a brilliant and classically structured wine. A little wine shop with one of my favorite pastries: the cardamom swirl twist thing. - just finished it with a strong coffee- an excellent combo!!! Nice outdoor seating.

Cute coffee spot and wine shop! I always come here for the special lattes.

Peculiar coffee shop in the heart of Ballard. The layout is a little clunky as it appears to be an old house converted into a coffee shop. Not much they can do about that, but it still feels clunky. I didn't feel inclined to stay and hang out more than 15 mins. The shop ended up being pretty busy while I was there with a single barista, so the service was a bit slow. I ordered a Mocha and Hot Chocolate and both drinks were decent, but I don't think I'd go back given all the options available.

The baked goods are really tasty...but I think no sandwiches...
Yes they're is WiFi and it's a great place to work. It can fill up quickly, though. There's also a loft tucked away above the counter that you can use.
