Wow is all I can say. My wife and I went here for a night for her birthday. It's early in the season so we were the only guests. The hosts didn't hold anything back. Service was amazing and the food........WOW 1st class!!! Everything we ate was amazing. The grounds are amazing and we can't wait to go back in summer. HIghly recommend!!!

Simply a master class of fine dining. Room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bed is beyond comfy. Service was friendly without being obtrusive. Feeling like getting away and eating well at the same time... This is the place. My photos don't do it justice, but I can guess someone has been perfecting this craft of dinner for years. Down to a science. Culinary Institute chef's are hard to find. Someone trained in the old ways is even harder. Glad to see it here, alive and well.

6/2021 Overnight stay with friends. Rooms were lovely - well appointed; bed firm & comfy; quiet overhead fan and screened windows that opened to a nice breeze. Very spacious bathroom large shower separate from the tub; double sinks; & heated tile floor! We were in the Evergreen Room which had a sweet alcove overlooking the ‘catch & release’ pond. The chef’s table dinner was delicious 😋. Carolyn and Dave are very gracious and welcoming…as well as their low key dog ‘Puggles’. One note: as you come up the drive, bear LEFT at the Y. Beautiful wooded surroundings and would love to re- visit to see the lodge in other seasons.
