This is a great studio for all fitness levels, and there is a large variety of classes constantly being offered. The owner Allison is very friendly and does a great job making all students feel welcome. Highly recommended!

I spent a while searching for a gym with not great results. Everywhere I went, I felt ashamed of my fitness level and pressured into committing to plans that simply weren't for me. When I first went to Upbeats, I was pretty discouraged by my past experiences at other gyms. I was shocked by the level of care and guidance from Allison, the owner. My first day there, I was greeted with a card thanking me for giving their gym a try and a smile from someone who ACTUALLY knew my name. From that day, my experience at Upbeats has been awesome. This is my Cheers for workouts!! I love the variety of classes and all of the instructors who make working out fun. Instead of watching the clock, I'm shocked by how quickly the classes fly by. I highly recommend Bounce, Balletone, Barre, Yoga Sculpt, and High Low Fitness!!

I love Upbeats and the type of classes they offer. It is all music based which means you get distracted enough to really get into and have fun and kinda forget you are actually working out. I’ve taken a few classes and all the instructors are very nice and knowledgeable. My go-to classes are POUND and HIGH Fitness. The studio is very bright and clean. It has changing rooms in case you come straight from work and gotta change before class. I recommend bringing your own water bottle, they have a water fountain for refillable water bottle.

Upbeats has become my favorite fitness studio in Seattle! I love their wide array of classes, from dance to kickboxing to pounding it out with weighted drumsticks. The space is thoughtfully created and I have enjoyed all of the instructors I've had. I started going to Upbeats using ClassPass, but quickly realized I needed to get a membership because I was always choosing their classes. It's a new studio but pricing is reasonable and, in my opinion, it's worth it. Another plus for me is that it's women-owned!! I highly recommend Upbeats :)

To show mutual respect for all members of the Upbeats community, we follow a strict punctuality policy. All clients are expected to arrive at least five minutes early for all classes. If you are a new client and class has started, you will not be able to participate as you must complete paperwork beforehand. On occasion, the door may lock when class begins if the instructor checking in participants is also teaching that class.
Yes, we ask that you please reserve your spot through your account online. We like to cap our classes so that the studio room is not over-crowded and so you can get the most out of every class. If classes are full, we highly recommend adding yourself to the wait list.
Yes! All fitness levels can enjoy our classes. OULA, POUND, and Vinyasa with Volume are great for those just starting their fitness journey.
Limited parking is available in the parking lot in front of the studio on a first come, first serve basis. Unmetered street parking is available on NW Leary Way and the surrounding neighborhood. Upbeats is also conveniently located on the 40 bus route from Downtown Seattle and Ballard.
