Call ahead for bulk feed -- they can get whatever you need but don't keep much on hand. I wanted 50 - 100 lbs of any grain and it was a specialty order. Otherwise helpful and friendly.

Hayes Feed & Country Store in Burien is so way cool this store has been here along time . The staff is awesome . There's plenty of parking . I love this store . There's lots of stuff for you pets here . What a sweet place .

Hayes has been my sole source for chicks, feed, bedding, and other supplies since I started keeping chickens and rabbits 5 years ago. The employees are friendly and helpful - the owner once kept the store open 30 minutes after closing so I could pickup some medication when my chicken fell ill! This spring they allowed me to special order a variety of chicks so I got to have the flock of my dreams. The only downside is their lunchtime closing. Sometimes it's most convenient for me to stop by midday, so the lunch closure is a bummer.

Hi 🙋♀️🐣🐔🐓 They usually have baby chicks available in the springtime and throughout the summer I'm not sure if they get fall chicks and if you're looking for a full grown chicken of egg-laying maturity, you could give them a call often times they have several hens or a couple of roosters. This would be a good time of year to see if they have any mature adult hens. 🐣🐔🐓🙋♀️
