I missed the bus because I didn't realize you had to wait outside. There is no one that works in this bus station so be prepared to call the 800 number if you have a problem

Yes. The greyhound bus stops about 100' further up than the local buses
I have purchased in the past but I would for time sake etc buy online ,that way it is just a flash of ID

No Greyhound bought Trailways and the Trailways name so any company you may see using the Trailways name has to pay Greyhound to use it.
There is Hertz on Richmond Road, and Enterprise on Merrimac Trail. Both would require a cab or Uber/Lyft ride from Williamsburg Train/Bus Station. The are both. 2-3 mil
Don't know what a ticket on Greyhound Bus Lines cost. However, I do take Amtrak Railroad oftern from Williamsburg to New York. The train will stop at Washington Union Station on its way from Newport News-Williamsburg-Rixhmond-Fredericksburg-Alexandria-Washinton- Baltimore-Wilmington-Philadelphia-Trenton,-Newark-New York-New Haven-Providence-Boston, and intermediate points. Your ticket on the train may be between $35-60. The earlier you book, the cheaper fate you will get.
