It's a nice little park layout. Beautiful lake. I often find people fishing off the dock. Beautiful scenery. Lots of plants and wildlife to spot here. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless, litterbugs, and smokers that hang out here. The homeless usually set up camp after dusk and leave their trash. During rainy season: walking the trails are currently difficult unless you own galoshes. The lake is currently flooding the trails. Update: it's been sunny enough that the trails have dried up and are now walkable. I recommend going in the AM if you're looking for a peaceful walk.

Beautiful spacious park with a few windy trails and a beautiful little lake you can walk around. Great photo op too! The bridge can get over run with water at times making it hard or downright impossible to cross at times. So beware of that. The trails get really hard to walk on when it rains or right after the path is very wet muddy I'm talking your whole foot sinking into the mud kind of soggy... Also, there's live animals you'll come across from time to time. I've only seen geese on the trail before but I'm sure there's other wildlife. Nothing crazy like bears or anything though! They've got restrooms that are open at weird hours but they're sometimes available. Bring your own soap fyi...the bathroom only has cold water no paper towels or soap ....

A nice little oasis with several boardwalk areas to view the pond, and benches to rest. There are also restrooms near the main parking lot. Unfortunately, when I visited, while it was sunny out, the path was super muddy and would have been a mess if I'd had my doggy sidekick with me.

I probably would have given it 4 stars had I visited another day, but not today. The north trail that goes into the lake has extremely muddy surface, at one point your shoes would sink one inch into the mud–it's not even a rainy day today. The trail that goes to the southeast corner is completely flooded therefore not accessible during my visit.

Villalba the entrance by automobile is off of 198th Street this Park is open from Dawn till Dusk previously the land was a swamp and most of Lynnwood was swamp before development. We are in Washington people it rains a lot and when it rains it floods when you're on land that was once a swamp the ground is soft and has a tendency to flood that's what happened to Lynnwood High School both of my daughters went there both graduated from there but that's cool was thinking a quarter of an inch a year how they managed to build Costco on there I would like to know that.
No play area. There a lot of wildlife they could learn about.
Yes its a nice safe park
