I purchased a gun but I didn’t not have a good experience. I got a very cold welcoming, and no genuine help from one of the employees. He told me they didn’t have the gun I was inquiring about. Funny how I ended up purchasing that gun. Women should not bring their business here.

Great environment, the staff and even the customers are nice. They always lead you in the right direction and will help every step of the way, no matter how difficult or indecisive you are. They’re definitely not a shop you go into thinking “this is shady”, they will deny you if you dont do things correctly, and i love that. It gives me peace of mind knowing theyre doing things properly. Great shop and great prices! Ill definitely be back to annoy them whenever i want a new addition.

Since I’ve moved to Indy I have been pretty loyal to this range, and have purchased some firearms here, but the rifle range policy has made me consider going elsewhere to shoot. I’ve only used the rifle range twice, my second time I was informed that all rifle range ammunition had to be purchased from them. I understand the business wants to minimize damage to the backstop from steel core rounds but this can easily be mitigated by a simple magnet check, what many other ranges do. Having to pay 70 dollars to use the range for an hour (they charge around 45 bucks for 50 rds of m193) is making me strongly reconsider using this range for rifles.

First time going to an indoor range. Took my mom so she can learn to be comfortable with firearms. She shot once and wanted to leave the range. I finished my session and came out to find my mother speaking to an employee. I didnt catch her name, but she was talking to mom to calm her down and was offering 1 on 1 time and offering suggestions to ease her in more comfortably. Also, there was a member around moms age who was super sweet. We had a great experience (other than mom being scared). This will be my go to spot. Excellent customer service.

I'm just a regular customer, but have been there when other folks visiting from another country have shot on the ranges.
Permits in Indiana are done through the state police. and a gun sale ussually takes 30 mins after choosing which gun you would like.
The next classes for ladies only are Sunday, September 29 (Intermediate tactical) and October 3 (Basic). If those are not soon enough for you, I would recommend calling the shop and see what training classes Megan or Joel are teaching. You can't go wrong with their teaching staff, but if you were looking for a ladies class for any particular reason, having one of then or both in your class regardless of if it is a ladies class might be what works!
You can shoot that caliber, just let us know when checking in.
Yes, in order to receive a rental you have to be 21.
You do not need a reservation as the range is open to the public.
We do offer range discounts to active duty military and law enforcement.
Hands on experience almost always is better than YouTube/reading, or at least for me it is, but everyone learns different too. I've never taken their class so I can't comment on the class itself. But $150 isn't bad for a class when you consider it benefits you and your potential to defend your life.
Our website has dates and times for classes. Our Introduction to handgun class runs multiple times a week. We have what you're looking for sale at the counter. We look forward to having you in! The license to carry a handgun is done through the Indiana State Police. In.gov/isp/ -JAI
Yes, basic cleaning starts at $25
We carry rifles chambered in 5.56 and 308. Stop in to see our selection and pricing. The inventory changes daily.
I would check the State Police website.
You can purchase a firearm if we ship to a firearms dealer in Chicago. You can not purchase and take possession from a firearms dealer in Indiana if you live on IL.
I'm not positive about the current price, but I do believe it is listed on the website.
They do sell new and used guns.
You could find that firearm from many online sellers and ship to the store. There is a transfer fee of $30, i believe. I have done this with an AR lower.
My son bought me a gift card there, so I would say yes.
$30 for non members. $15 for members.
Sorry, we only have limited ammo for training classes.
Depends on if you pass the background check and pay in full. Pass the background check and then pay in full and drive home.
Only during classes
Indy Arms has a discount on the range time for first responders and active military. Its on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Indy Arms complies with every law required to sell guns. Top notch facilities!
Yes. They have the most high tech pistol range in town. The Sig p365 came out last year and they were the only store that had a range gun to test out. I loved it and ordered one. They gave me a call less than a week later. Great staff
Not by themselves and yes
We do have a service department. Please bring your firearms in for service or cleanings. Need sights installed? We install them for free on most handguns and long guns.
Yes

Yes, but you'll need to ship it to an FFL in your home area. Theyll need to file with IAC (if an agreement doesnt already exist), and youll need to complete a transfer at your local FFL.
No sir.
I believe they do. They have one of the widest selections of ammo.
Cost depends on class (es) taken, # of hrs involved, classrm only or live fire session included. I believe they range $95 to $200. Contact Rick, Mark, Josh, or Franke at the range, or visit their website.
Do you have a class to introduce handguns to newbies? My friend wants to learn to fire a handgun. Do you have something that would meet this requirement? He will need to rent a gun for the class if you have one.
