Let's start with the good, I enjoyed my Tuna melt. It had a great taste to it and all in all was a solid showing. Not overly toasted, tuna tasted great, and whatever they did to give the melt some flavor was fine by me. The cost is for me one of the negatives. The melt was a bit on the pricey side (roughly $18). Another negative was overall portions for what the table ordered just felt small. The mac and cheese is just overpriced for how small it is, I feel I need to call that out. The mac and cheese is not a shareable and it wasn't ordered to be one either, it's just way too small even for one person is what I'm saying. Lots of game options and the servers were nice, no complaints there. My iced tea never got a refill and unfortunately they weren't good about getting water. But hey, that's how it goes sometimes, overall they were people just doing their best. Overall it's a nice place for some games and I'd give it another go. Just wouldn't go there hungry is all. Check it out if you're in the area!

I went here with my friends on one of the Sunday evenings. The place was pretty full but we were able to grab a table for four. The staff was pretty helpful and fun in helping us select a new game altogether that none of us had ever played before. As a group we really enjoyed the game. Food wise, there weren't a lot of vegetarian options so we ended up ordering coffees and a mushroom appetizer. The coffee could be hotter and better for my liking. Overall, food wise, the place seemed a little expensive for the portion and quality of food and drinks. However, it was a super fun evening to spend with friends.

Fun events! Was there for Star Wars trivia and it was a blast! The cocktails are delicious. If they have the mead cocktail list, the espresso martini is a bit sweet but great. The appetizer menu leaves a bit to be desired. It's a board game bar, not a gourmet restaurant. So the only reason why I didn't give a 5 star review was because I ordered the brussel sprouts and stuffed mushrooms and both were... just okay. Portions were small for the price (5 mushrooms for $13). I would probably not eat there again but would definitely come back for games, trivia, and drinks. Pretty good beer list too!

Good food and great games! Wonderful place for those that love board games. They have lots of games there that you can try for free. I've spent a lot of time there playing board games with friends. Be careful about weekends when they have gaming tournaments. It'll be jam packed then, so better to avoid going at that time unless you wanna be in the tournament.

In the store, yes! (Not in the cafe though)
The game shop side has tables where you can sit and try out games from their lending library with no obligation to buy food or drink, and courtesy would oblige you to buy something if you're sitting on the cafe side. The cafe often has a waitlist for tables on the weekend and in the evenings. You could also bring a game from home or buy a game there to play, but with hundreds of games to borrow it's not necessary.
Minors are welcome, unless it's a specifically designated 21+ event. Even at the bar in the cafe.
There is a dedicated parking lot across the street. It does fill on busy days. Street parking can be difficult to find.
Yes, they have a dedicated free lot across the street, and there is free street side parking as well. Both will fill up on busy nights, though.
Yup! There's also a bar where you could drink while playing poker. :D
Unfortunately no. It's a pretty big ding against them since it's near impossible to get a table for a larger group of friends.
There's a few 40k folks, but it's been mostly AoS recently.
Great timing on the ask! Mox Seattle JUST started (today is the first day) an Age of Sigmar weekly event called “Path to Glory.” Every Wednesday at 6pm you can join other Warhammer players who are painting their models (at our Paint Jam in the Tournament Room) or play in the Minis Room with a 600 point army. This event is specifically meant to be new-player friendly so folks of any age and any experience level are welcome. I’d also check out Thursday night Beers & Battles if you’re 21+.
The restaurant is currently closed, as are the tournament and play areas. However, the game store is open and just as awesome as ever!
No, they sell magic cards online and sell magic plus a few more niche TCGs (Legend of the five rings and FFXIV off the top of my head) in store
Yes but I think it's better to make a appointment if you have alot of high value cards. If not they will have a guy come down and do somewhat of a bulk buy out. The more time you give them and having a list let's them pick the best buyer for your collection. Also you can get either store credit or cash
Most weekdays before 5pm are much slower and Mondays are usually the slowest over all.
Hi Addison, we don’t actually take reservations, so just walk in. Sometimes there can be a wait for a table and in that case we will text you when your table is ready.
I know they're giving them away right now with a $60 purchase, so I would think that you can buy them as well.
